SYTEM SPEC:<br /> 
- 10 Gbit/s Internet connection<br />
- Download server is a virtual server with virtual disk. Disk is the bottle neck. (Host has mirrored disks with ZFS)<br />
- Download server is behind an FreeBSD firewall using PF<br />

If you start off by one or two test fetch runs, then the test file will be in the ZFS cache and in the next run load from memory (i.e fast...). This server has been proven to serve up to at lest 3-5 Gbit/s speed.  If you have a 1 Gbit/s connection you should be able to max it out....<br />
